October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, the month of October and the Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns have taken on a much more personal meaning to me. For you see, I am now a statistic. I am a breast cancer warrior. I have joined the fight. Please pray for me and for all of the other “1 in 8 women” who have been or who will be diagnosed with breast cancer.

Hey Anita,
Takes a lot of courage to share such a personal journey. You have touched many people through the years with your music and now with your words. So much love and support surround you in presence, thoughts and prayers.
Get up. Stand up.
Fight like a girl!!

I appreciate that you are bringing us along for this journey.
Anita, you have always been so kind to me. I want to tell you, no matter what never be afraid to say how you feel. I’ve been through cancer with my parents 5 times. They did it together beating the dis~ease. I just helped sometimes taking away the pain. It only lasts for a little while, the pain and the relief. We are human. I chose to cuss pain, when I can. For me that releases some pain and anger. Hope, you find what helps you best Chicka. And, I would help you anyway possible we went through this With Ms Linda Lou too. Different carcinoma, but same process almost. We are gonna help you, just keep us informed. Cause I Love you too Girl!!! I got puppy power socks!!πͺπͺππππππππ
